1. Cue Podcasts and LimeBlue Launch Live Podcast Booths

Cue Podcasts has teamed up with event partner LimeBlue to roll out bespoke on-location podcast booths — letting brands and creators capture live conversations, interviews and event highlights while they happen. Read more about the exciting launch here!

2. 2026 Ambies Nominations Announced

The Ambies — the Podcast Academy’s annual Awards for Excellence in Audio — have revealed their full list of nominees across 33 categories. Standout podcasts up for Podcast of the Year include Call Her Daddy, Crime Junkie, Pablo Torre Finds Out, and The Mel Robbins Podcast. The ceremony will honour a wide range of shows and creators pushing the medium forward.

3. December Australian Podcast Ranker Out Now

Triton Digital and Commercial Radio & Audio have released the December 2025 Australian Podcast Ranker, with Hamish & Andy topping the list, followed by Mamamia Out Loud and ABC News Top Stories. The report also highlights genre trends, with News, Society & Culture, and True Crime among Australia’s most listened-to categories - read it here!

4. ShxtsNGigs podcast duo performing in South Africa

The time has come: this week and next, viral UK podcast duo ShxtsNGigs will be hosting their first-ever South African tour. James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu will bring their Daddy’s Home live show to Johannesburg (24 Jan) and Cape Town (27 Jan).
